In a Jan. 24 Press Release, HBO has confirmed an April return for "The Leftovers." The drama series is set to kick off its eight-episode and final season on April 16 at 9 p.m. EST. This would also mark the third season of the show.
"The Leftovers" was created by Damon Lindelof and Perotta. The cast includes Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon, Amy Brenneman, Kevin Carroll, Christoper Eccleston, Scott Glenn, Liv Tyler, Lindsay Duncan, and Regina King.

It's filmed on location in Texas and Australia and it's also a Peabody Award-winning show too. The executive producers are Damon Lindelof, Tom Perrotta, Mimi Leder, Tom Spezialy, Gene Kelly, Peter Berg, and Sarah Aubrey. It's produced by HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros.
